What We Do

01
Asbestos Management Survey
The purpose of the management survey is to manage asbestos-containing materials (ACM) during the normal occupation and use of premises.
This aims to ensure that:
-
nobody is harmed by the continuing presence of ACM in the premises or equipment.
-
that the ACM remain in good condition
-
that nobody disturbs it accidentally
The surveyor must locate ACM that could be damaged or disturbed by normal activities, by foreseeable maintenance, or by installing new equipment. It involves minor intrusion and minor asbestos disturbance to carry out a materials and product assessment. This shows the ability of ACM, if disturbed, to release fibres into the air. The aim is to guide our clients in prioritising of any remedial / removal work. The area should be vacated during the survey.

02
Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Survey
The refurbishment/demolition survey is required where the premises, or part of it, needs upgrading, refurbishment or demolition. The survey does not need a record of the condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACM).
This survey aims to ensure that:
-
nobody will be harmed by work on ACM in the premises or equipment.
-
such work will be done by the right contractor in the right way
-
Asbestos is identified on the report so actions can be taken for remediation/removal works
The surveyor must locate and identify all ACM before any structural work begins at a stated location or on stated equipment at the premises. It involves destructive inspection and asbestos disturbance. The area surveyed must be vacated, and certified 'fit for reoccupation' after the survey. The surveyor must also be provided with the site layout, building plans, building specifications or architect's drawings, and any history of asbestos work. Point out your site hazards, including means of safe access to heights. Provide keys, etc.

03
Asbestos Air Monitoring
During works with asbestos, it is often necessary to carry out air monitoring to assess the concentration of airborne asbestos fibre levels that have been generated by the removal / remediation process. Air monitoring in many instances is a legal requirement and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012).

04
Asbestos Water Safety
In older buildings, water systems can present a dual risk: exposure to Legionella bacteria and hidden asbestos in pipe lagging, tanks, or insulation. Our asbestos water safety service combines specialist surveying with water hygiene expertise to identify and manage both threats effectively. Whether you are carrying out Legionella risk assessments or planning system upgrades, we help you stay compliant and safeguard building users from harm.

05
Asbestos Fire Safety
Fire-resistant materials used in legacy construction often contain asbestos, posing a dual risk if disturbed. Our asbestos fire safety service identifies these materials during fire safety inspections, ensuring both compliance with fire regulations and safe asbestos management. We support refurbishment plans, fire door upgrades, and risk assessments with clear guidance that keeps your property protected on every level.

06
